The first Brisbane Street Art Festival (BSAF) broke down barriers by providing showcase opportunities for artists and a platform to connect with new audiences. The first iteration of the festival took place from the 6th ti the 14th of February, 2016. Held at over 25 locations across Brisbane, the festival delivered a platform where both artists and the community could participate in an exciting new format all across the city. Showcasing over 50 artists, 1400 cans of paint, 25+ walls, 2 exhibitions, a street art fashion show alongside a number of evening events, BSAF offered a feast for the mind, ears, eyes, body and soul.
