BSAF 2025

What began as a bold vision to transform Brisbane’s urban landscape has grown into one of Australia’s most celebrated public art events. The Brisbane Street Art Festival (BSAF) marked its 10th anniversary in 2025, representing a decade of turning the city into a vibrant, living canvas.

Since its inception, BSAF has steadily expanded its footprint across Brisbane, from laneways and underpasses to entire precincts, leaving a permanent legacy of world-class murals that continue to define the character of the city’s neighbourhoods. Each year, the festival has brought together local talent alongside internationally acclaimed artists, fostering a creative community that stretches far beyond the walls they paint.

The 2025 program marked a milestone moment in the festival’s history, with the Australian return of Meeting of Styles, an internationally renowned graffiti initiative, making its Brisbane debut, alongside the city’s first-ever Paste Up Festival, cementing BSAF’s reputation as a platform for pushing street art into new and exciting directions.

Over ten years, BSAF has grown from a grassroots movement into a defining fixture of Brisbane’s cultural calendar, a testament to the power of public art to connect communities, inspire creativity, and reimagine what a city can look like.
