LUMINESCENCE X CHRIS MANGOS

Luminescence is a Brisbane-based string group exploring new space within classical, contemporary and experimental performance. The group is passionate about making their instruments more accessible and evocative through elements of staging design; audience interaction; and a specially curated program of contemporary music from internationally acclaimed composers and Brisbane’s very own creative talents.
Chris Mangos is a Brisbane based designer who currently explores escapism and colour through illustration, graphic design and lighting installations. This artistic collaboration features a dynamic four-piece lighting installation by Chris Mangos which is animated live by the lush melodies of Luminescence.
The project seeks to encapsulate the mood and tone of Luminescence’s performance through interactive lighting, creating a harmony of sight and sound.
