Scribble Slam

Watch as two street artists go head-to-head to create a large wall artwork in just 90 minutes! The battling artists can use whichever medium they like to create their unique artwork – but there’s a twist – they must respond to a mystery theme given to them just before the timer begins!
The iconic art battle will be hosted twice in Brisbane during the festival, first at Ric’s Backyard on May 3 and then at Toombul Centre’s newest precinct on May 15. Each night will be accompanied by the sweet beats of our resident DJ and half-time sessions from Brisbane’s underground musos. Join the diverse crowd of spectators, vote for your favourite to win, and gain a unique perspective into these artists’ creative processes.
