In 2022, Brisbane Street Art Festival is returning for its 7th year to showcase the abundant creative efforts of Brisbane and beyond. This year we are thrilled to be able to host our largest number of artists to date, welcoming over 50 creatives from across Australia as well as internationally.
The Festival Launch Party, held at Superordinary’s brand new Northshore location, will mark the beginning of the festival’s program of events, exhibitions and showcases that will span across the following two weeks.
Join us to celebrate the launch of BSAF 2022 as well as our first official opening of the Superordinary Northshore venue with a night of local music, art, and performance.
This opening night will also introduce several of the festival’s highlight exhibitions which BSAF will host in the coming weeks. BSAF will present ‘Tools of the Trade’, an expansive showcase of street art tools and traditions from the last seventy years, produced by HKwalls, in its first international display since its launch in Hong Kong. We will also welcome back the ‘Within These Walls’ Exhibition, opening up the inner circles of Brisbane’s street art scene to the broader Brisbane community through a multi-disciplinary exhibit spanning from photography to mixed-media to paintings and more. BSAF are also thrilled to be introducing a collaborative exhibition with House of Iris, a creative collective of Brisbane’s best photographers.
All exhibitions will run from the Festival Launch Party through to the end of the festival on 22 May.
