Join us on the first Sunday of April for the launch of this year’s Brisbane Street Art Festival. The BSAF team, all the artists taking place in the festival, and our community and industry support, invite you to indulge in a night of live art, live music, performance and the unveiling of BSAF 2018’s first mural, painted by legendary street artists Drapl and Treazy – you may know them from previous BSAF years, painting the skating arena in Red Hill. This will be mind blowing. With support from Digi Youth Arts, an acknowledgment of the lands and country will open the event, as well as a representative from the Brisbane City Council.
Lord Mayor Graham Quirk said Brisbane City Council was proud to support the Brisbane Street Art Festival, which added to Brisbane’s reputation as a great place to live, work and relax. “Public art contributes to a vibrant Brisbane
and brings our city’s infrastructure alive, while providing new opportunities for our city’s talented
emerging artists,” Cr Quirk said. Launch Event Acknowledgment of Country by Digi Youth Arts: before the walls: We dream in futures. We care about tomorrows. We paint for generations.
