Out of Character, A Type Workshop.

This workshop will draw you into the world of typography, text, and words. Playing with text as a visual medium you will discover the power of arrangement of type through font, point sizes, line and letter-spacing, and how text can be used as a decorative device and subtle form of communication.
Participants will learn useful design principles to apply to their work, plus the opportunity to get hands-on and be guided through the process of letter craft. Participants will take home their final pieces of lettering.
